Refund Policy
Support is voluntary, paid directly to the creator, and Early Copies are delivered instantly — here is exactly when a refund is due, and how to ask.
Last updated: 12 July 2026
1. The nature of Support
Payments on So Far So Good are voluntary support for a Creator, made in Euro (EUR) — they are not purchases of goods. You pay the Creator directly through PayPal: the money goes from your PayPal payment straight to the Creator’s PayPal account. So Far So Good never receives or holds your money (some Creators voluntarily share a portion of their supports with the platform — a Creator Contribution, described in the Creator Terms — which never changes what you pay or what you unlock). The Early Copy Terms describe what your support unlocks.
2. What you receive
As soon as PayPal confirms your payment to the Creator, your Early Copy Download unlocks. That unlock covers every version of the project, including future versions, with unlimited re-downloads. If your request is declined, you simply don’t pay — nothing is charged.
3. When refunds are generally not available
Because support is voluntary and the Early Copy is digital content delivered immediately after your payment, completed support is normally non-refundable. Changing your mind about the music, or about the amount you offered, is not grounds for a refund.
If you are a consumer in the European Union: by confirming a support payment you expressly request immediate delivery of the Early Copy and acknowledge that you thereby lose your 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content once delivery has begun.
4. When a refund is due
A refund of the full amount is warranted where:
- the same support was paid twice, or you paid by accident;
- your payment completed but your Early Copy was not delivered and we cannot fix the failure within a reasonable time;
- your PayPal account was used without your authorisation;
- the project was removed for copyright infringement, or was materially misrepresented on the platform.
Because your payment goes directly to the Creator, refunds are issued by the Creator through PayPal. We coordinate this: report the problem to us (below) and we will work with the Creator to have the refund issued promptly. Creators are required by the Creator Terms and these policies to refund the cases listed above.
5. How to request a refund
Contact us through the contact form within 14 days of the payment. Include the PayPal transaction ID from your receipt, the name of the (Anonymous) project you supported, and a short description of the problem. We reply to every refund request and aim to resolve it within 5 business days.
6. How refunds are processed
Refunds are issued through PayPal to your original payment method, typically arriving within a few business days of being issued, subject to PayPal’s processing times. Because we charge no fees, a full refund means you get back exactly what you paid.
7. PayPal disputes and Buyer Protection
Your payment may also be covered by PayPal Buyer Protection, and you can open a dispute in PayPal’s Resolution Center under PayPal’s own terms. Please contact us before opening a dispute — almost every issue is faster to resolve directly, and this policy gives you clear routes to a refund where one is due. Disputes filed to avoid paying for support whose Early Copy was delivered and downloaded may lead to account blocking.
8. What a refund means for the unlock
When support is refunded, the related Early Copy unlock — including re-download access — may be revoked. Files already downloaded remain subject to the Early Copy Terms.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy with notice for material changes; the date at the top reflects the current version. Refund questions: the contact form.
