Early Copy Terms

An Early Copy is a full-quality download of an unreleased project, unlocked by voluntarily supporting its Creator. It is early access — a thank-you from the Creator — not a purchase. Supporting a Creator does not buy the music, and it transfers no ownership, publishing or other rights in it. These terms govern every Early Copy Download you receive through So Far So Good.

You choose the amount you offer and pay it directly to the Creator’s PayPal account — So Far So Good never holds your money. Your full amount counts as your support of the Creator; whether a Creator shares a portion of it with the platform (a Creator Contribution, see the Creator Terms) is entirely their choice. Once PayPal confirms the payment, your Early Copy unlocks. Because support is voluntary and the Early Copy is delivered immediately, refunds are limited — see the Refund Policy.

When you unlock an Early Copy, the Creator grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to:

• listen to the music privately, on your own devices;
• play it in your DJ sets and live performances — that is what unreleased music is for.

The licence is a licence to enjoy and play the music, not to exploit it. All rights not expressly granted stay with the producer.

You must not:

• share, send, upload, post or otherwise distribute an Early Copy — to anyone, anywhere, including private groups and file lockers;
• resell it, trade it or offer it for download;
• publish or release it, in whole or in part, including in edits, remixes or mashups made public without the Creator’s separate permission;
• use it commercially beyond DJ/live play — no sync, no advertising, no sampling into your own released work;
• strip, alter or hide its embedded metadata.

Every Early Copy Download carries embedded metadata, including a unique six-character Download ID tied to your account. Downloads are also logged with your IP address and browser details, as described in the Privacy Policy. If a file leaks, it can and will be traced back to the account that downloaded it.

Unlocking any version of a project unlocks every version — including versions the Creator uploads later, at no extra cost. You can re-download your Early Copies whenever you like. For security, download links are short-lived (five minutes); just request a fresh link when you need one.

Copyright remains with the producer, at all times and without exception. Every file says so in its embedded metadata. Neither So Far So Good nor you acquire any ownership of the music through support or download.

Leaking an Early Copy is the most serious breach on this platform. A traced leak leads to immediate account blocking (including IP blocking), loss of all unlocked Early Copies and re-download access, and may lead to legal claims by the Creator — whose unreleased work you exposed — and by the platform.

Creators can remove their projects, and the platform itself may change or wind down. Files you have already downloaded remain yours to keep under this licence, but re-download access may end when a project is removed. Questions about payments in such cases are covered by the Refund Policy.
