Ways to make money with So Far So Good

Every track on So Far So Good has a share button. Press it and you get your own Track ID for that track, a short code with a link and a QR code. Anyone who opens it and downloads the Early Copy within 7 days earns you 20% of the producer’s net earnings from that download. It costs them nothing extra, and you don’t need to upload anything. Below is where to put your Track ID so people actually find it.

   Instagram Stories

   Open a track, press Share, then Create Story with sound. You get a short video of the track with your Track ID on screen, and your link is already copied. Post it as a Story and add a Link sticker with that link.

   Share your Track ID directly

   Send your link in a DM, a WhatsApp group or a chat with friends. When someone asks “what’s that track?” at a party or a gig, show the QR code from the share sheet: one scan opens the track with your Track ID on it. No camera handy? Read the code out; they can type it at sofarsogood.love.

   DJ sets and mixes

   Played a track from So Far So Good in a set? Listeners always ask for the track ID, so give them yours. Put it in the tracklist of your mix on SoundCloud, Mixcloud or YouTube:

   Open a track, press Share, then YouTube video · full track. You get a ready-to-upload video of the whole track with your Track ID and a QR code on screen, plus a title and a description with your link to paste. Upload it to your channel and pin the link as the first comment, since most viewers never open the description. Posting a mix or a live set instead? Put your links in the description, next to each track in the tracklist.

   Run a music channel or a community?

   If you run a YouTube channel, a SoundCloud page, a playlist or a group where people find new music, mix tracks from So Far So Good into what you already post. Every track here is pre-released, so your audience hears it first, and you earn on every Early Copy download that comes through your links. A link from a video months ago still counts: each new visit starts a fresh 7-day window.

   You don’t need a label profile for any of this. If you do run a label, you can also bring it to So Far So Good to find new music and contact its producers.
