- Is my upload really anonymous?
- Your identity stays hidden while listeners review your music. You register a normal account, but listeners never see who made a project—until you choose to reveal it, usually when you accept support and share an early copy.
- Can someone steal my unreleased project?
- Your file is protected. Previews stream through short-lived private links and can't be downloaded. The full-quality early copy is delivered only when a request is unlocked—and every delivered file carries an invisible Download ID, so a leaked copy can be traced straight back to the account that downloaded it.
- How do I make money?
- Listeners who want early access support you and request a copy. You decide whether to accept, reject, or auto-handle requests—or turn copies off entirely and just collect feedback.
- Does SoFarSoGood take a cut?
- Only if you choose to share one. Supports go straight to the creator. If you want to help keep the platform free, you can turn on a Creator Contribution: a percentage you choose that's automatically applied to each future support at checkout, before it's paid out to you. Completely voluntary, changeable or removable at any time, and it never affects how your music is discovered or ranked.
- What happens when I improve a project?
- Upload a new version and your project evolves on a timeline. Everyone who already supported you automatically gets access to the new version, and earlier versions stay available too.
- Who discovers my music?
- DJs looking for unreleased projects to play, and labels watching which projects earn real support. Based on the sound—not the following.
